Joe is a Yorkshireman who graduated with a Zoology BSc Hons degree in 2000 and, like most graduates, he didn’t know what to do next. With a specialist knowledge of venomous snakes, Joe decided to work abroad for a year…in New Zealand, one of the few countries completely devoid of snakes. Still, it provided an unforgettable experience, and the catalyst to start writing seriously. Several years down the line, a manuscript of his New Zealand adventures became a novel - Hard Up Down Under. Joe’s children’s book, Bruno’s Big Day Out, and The Student's Drinking Handbook, are published by Fisher King Publishing.

Additionally, Joe has published two quiz books, having written over 13,000 questions in his quiz career. When not writing, Joe can be found at Ilkley Cricket Club (playing, watching, recovering from injury, or drinking). Visit his Author Page on Amazon.
