Beth Smart

Beth Smart

At the age of four, Beth moved with her parents to North Yorkshire and considers herself to be a true Yorkshire girl. Brought up in the world of horseracing, as the daughter of Group One winning trainer Bryan Smart, she has experienced the immense highs and inevitable lows that are part of the life of a racehorse trainer.

Inspired by the world around her, Beth started writing Racing Hearts in 2017 and has completed the novel while studying for a University degree and competing her showjumpers.

When not writing or riding, Beth enjoys walking over the moors with her dogs Rosie and Toffee, the inspirations behind Sam the pug.
