Elisa Wilkinson was born in Surrey, London, just as the Second World War broke out and was sent to Stanley, in West Yorkshire, where she was raised by her grandparents Edith and Robert Clayton.
Elisa began having visions at the age of four, but in those days it was a taboo subject not to be discussed. If she tried to say something she was punished severely. However as the years progressed she began seeing spirit more clearly and experiencing events such being able to tell if a woman was pregnant before she knew it herself.
She was educated at St Peters School, then at Stanley Modern Secondary School. She left school at fifteen and shortly afterwards, she met her future husband Eric. When they became engaged everyone said it wouldn’t last, but after 56 years they have certainly proven them wrong. Their favourite song is ‘When I fall In Love’, by Nat King Cole, Eric used to sing that to Elisa when they first met, he still does.
They did have two beautiful children, but sadly their youngest daughter Dawn died when she was just ten years of age. The tragic knowledge of knowing that Elisa would lose her daughter when she first held her after she was born broke her heart.
As a family they have worked hard and have successfully built up three businesses, two in England and one in America.
Elisa enjoys writing and investigating psychic phenomena; she paints in oils and knits baby clothes which she donates to charity.
