Oliver Wright

Oliver works as a leadership coach and advisor who believes in combining the personal insight and self-development that leaders gain through coaching, with practical help and support to facilitate change through action, delivering lasting change in the workplace. He believes getting the most out of people is the key to sustainable business performance and that leadership behaviours are critical to building high-performance teams.

Oliver’s leadership experience was gained during his 30-year career in a number of multinational companies, where he served on the European management board for a consumer goods business prior to spending 12 years as a UK board member for two large publishing companies.

He is driven by a passion for helping leaders become their best selves, founded on the belief that leaders perform best when they get out of the way and stop trying to manage and control, but instead, they inspire, motivate, enable, champion, and support. Oliver has coached and advised a wide variety of people from CEOs and senior leaders, small business owners, to those starting their leadership journey and even entrepreneur artists.

Oliver is based in Yorkshire, where he lives with his wife, two children and two cats, whom they take for walks on a lead (the cats, not the children). He has a passion for listening to music and collects vinyl records. Oliver enjoys reading fiction, as well as keeping up to date on leadership and business thinking and he is an avid fan of Formula 1 motor racing.
