Though Australian-born, Karen has strong family ties to Italy and England, particularly Yorkshire, where she once lived and regularly visits – the inspiration for the setting of her novels.

Karen’s first novel, Torn was a stunning success and her ‘cinematic’ writing style attracted worldwide attention. Torn was quickly followed by its sequel, Inviolate which picks-up where Torn fans were left wanting more.

Karen lives in the spectacular Riverina region of Victoria, Western Australia with husband Stuart and various pets.

When she’s not busy at her computer, Karen works as a volunteer at an animal refuge and likes to keep fit.
